THE owners of a Greenock restaurant have been recognised in the 'Best Companies to Work For' list for the ninth year.
Buzzworks, one of the country's leading hospitality groups, has been acknowledged as one of the UK's top employers.
The Ayrshire-based organisation, which operates 21 venues across Scotland, secured 60th place on the 'Best Large Company to Work For in the UK' list, climbing six places from last year.
Scotts Bar & Restaurant in Greenock, owned by Buzzworks, was the company's first venture into Inverclyde when it opened the venue in 2023.
Buzzworks was also named the ninth 'Best Company to Work For in Scotland' and the ninth 'Best Leisure & Hospitality Company to Work For in the UK'.
The list is published annually by employee engagement specialist Best Companies and aims to recognise organisations that go the extra mile to support their employees.
Nicola Watt, head of people at Buzzworks, said: "Being recognised as one of the UK’s best companies to work for the ninth year running is a real honour.
"Our people are at the heart of everything we do, and we are continually investing in their growth, wellbeing, and happiness by introducing initiatives and benefits we believe make a real difference to our team members’ lives, both professionally and personally.
"This recognition is a fantastic achievement for our team and is a testament to the hard work and dedication of everyone at Buzzworks, who go above and beyond every day to make our venues welcoming, inspiring, and great places to work.
"What makes achieving a two-star accreditation so special is that it comes from the views and experiences of our team.
"So, to receive this award once again demonstrates our ongoing commitment to create a supportive and positive workplace culture and we’re excited to keep building on this success for years to come."
In addition to securing a spot on this year’s list, the hospitality group also retained their two-star 'Outstanding Company to Work For' accreditation for 2024, again for the ninth year in a row.
