An angling club has landed £600 to pay towards travel costs.
Newark Angling Club received the grant for subsidised travel for elderly and junior members.
The cash came from Inverclyde Council's community grants fund sub committee.
The sub-committee awarded a share of £250,000 across a 100 groups at its meeting in December.
The fund allows the council to provide financial support to a variety of community, sport, music, arts and voluntary groups.
Local groups were asked to apply for up to £10,000 across three different categories, facilities/core costs, project costs and fee waivers.
