AN animal rescue charity has issued an appeal for information after a dog was found on a Greenock street.
The Scottish SPCA has taken in a male dog which was discovered on Tasker Street last Monday.
An appeal made on social media noted that the dog is microchipped but is not currently registered to anybody.
He is now being looked after at the charity’s Glasgow Centre, with anyone who recognises him being asked to contact 03000 999 999.
The charity said: “Please note, this is not a rehoming post. Please only contact us if you have relevant information.”
