A GREENOCK woman is to stand trial after she denied causing serious injury to another person in a crash earlier this year.
Michelle Woods, of Mavis Road, is charged with driving without due care and or reasonable consideration for other road users on Murdieston Street on March 4.
It is alleged the 35-year-old emerged from a side road while it was unsafe to do so and failed to stop at a give way before colliding with and damaging an oncoming car.
Defence solicitor Gerry Keenan tendered a plea of not guilty on Woods’ behalf at Greenock Sheriff Court.
A trial has been fixed for March 20, 2025.
