The five-piece band from Gourock are thankful for all the local support they have received over the years, they told the Tele: "Winning that award at the weekend was a pinch me moment.
“One thing we’ve been told since starting as a band is that our live energy is unmatched and anyone who watches us will be future fans, so to receive that award and be given the ‘Best Live Act’ title really means a lot to us.
“We have had such a busy year travelling around Europe playing some of the biggest festivals and it would be so much harder to get where we are, without the amazing support that we get locally.
“We can’t thank everyone enough who’s been supporting Slix throughout our journey.”
Next year, the band will play their biggest headline show in Glasgow at The Garage in Glasgow on Friday, April 11.
