GREENOCK students enjoyed a masterclass in make-up and wig design from the artists behind one of the biggest shows on TV.
West College Scotland make-up artistry lecturer Isobel Donald set up an exclusive virtual session for her class with Bridgerton's leading make-up and hair designers.
Top stylist Lynda J Pearce shared her industry secrets with the group, along with Marc Pilcher, wig designer, as the pair talked about working with the star cast of the 19th century period drama.
Netflix's Bridgerton has reached 82 million households, with fans falling in love with the Regency look of leading lady Daphne, played by Phoebe Dynevor, and Simon Basset as the Duke of Hastings.
Jackson Gillespie, an HND student, said: "It was great to hear what people like Lynda and Mark had to say.
"They were full of brilliant advice for us about the industry."
Fellow student Joyti Nahar, 23, said it was a real thrill to meet key players behind the smash hit.
She said: "I am a huge fan of the series.
"I love the looks and the costumes."
Classmate Natalie Miller added: "They were full of good advice about how to get jobs, giving us lots of good advice."
Lecturer Isobel set up the virtual class as part of a series of talks to help keep her students motivated during lockdown.
Isobel added: "You could see their motivation dipping the longer they were stuck at home.
"I thought this would be a great way to keep them keen.
"Lynda is a great and I have worked with her a lot in the industry.
"I also set up talks with Tanya Noor, who worked on Phantom of the Opera and the actress Blythe Duff.
"She told them how important the connection was between the make up team and the cast.
"I am glad our students can now get back in college to finish off practical work."
