MORTON last night came from behind to win their second successive reserve match as they recorded a 2-1 win over Raith Rovers.
Ton travelled to Fife on the back of a comfortable win over Ayr United which opened their reserve league campaign with a home victory.
Trialist striker Liam Gormley scored in that match and he was on the scoresheet again last night, with the former Celtic youth converting from the spot after Raith had edged ahead.
Prodigious midfielder Declan McDaid later grabbed a second goal as Ton maintained an unblemished start in the reserves.
Ton will now return to Cappielow on First Division duty this weekend as they bid to add their second win over Raith in a week.
