Centre-half Tennent, 17, has linked up with Ton team-mate Dylan Stevenson at Ayrshire outfit Dalry Thistle.
Inverkip lad Knight, pictured, 18, has joined local side Port Glasgow and made his debut in last Saturday’s 4-2 reverse at St Roch’s.
The right-back told the Tele: “I signed paperwork to join Port Glasgow on loan on the Thursday and played away to St Roch’s. It was good and just a case of getting tore in because you couldn’t really play football on the pitch there.
“I think two or three of their goals were set-pieces, but it was a good battle and I loved getting in amongst it.
“We are away at Newmains today. They are bottom of the league so it’s one we’ll be looking to go and win.” Manager Jim Duffy still hopes to see 18-year-old goalkeeper Jamie McGowan find regular football but has decided against farming out strikers Thomas Orr and Aidan Ferris.
He told the Tele: “At this moment in time I’m going to keep Aidan and Thomas here. I’m not going to put them out junior just now as we’ve got a lot of games coming up with the Under-20s.
“We’re still having a wee think about Luke Irvine, and I’d still like to get Jamie McGowan out if possible.”
