The former PSV Eindhoven youth signed a contract with the Ton prior to the Petrofac Cup tie against Dumbarton.
However, he was ineligible to face the Sons, Elgin City and Falkirk as the Cappielow club awaited authorisation from the Dutch FA.
The long-awaited clearance finally arrived this afternoon, allowing the frustrated 26-year-old to play a part at Easter Road.
Ton boss Jim Duffy told the Tele: “Romario has been cleared to play and we’ll include him in the matchday squad tomorrow.
“I’m pleased for the boy. He’s been waiting and waiting and there were obviously a couple of administrative issues that had to be resolved.
“But we’ve finally got it through and we’re delighted to have him on board. He gives us something different, and from his own point of view, he can relax now and hopefully feel part of it.”
