LOAN signing Cameron Blues believes that coming to Cappielow will give him a great chance to show supporters what he’s made of.
Blues, who penned a one-year loan deal at Cappielow on Friday, came on against Queen of the South on Saturday in the 3-3 draw, replacing scorer Bob McHugh with 22 minutes to play.
The youngster impressed at Berwick Rangers last season — notably scoring against eventual champions Peterhead — despite the Shielfield Park side dropping to the Lowland League.
The midfielder is thrilled to be offered a fresh start at Ton and aims to make an impact in the Championship under David Hopkin.
He said: “I’m buzzing to have signed. I’m looking forward to being part of a full time squad and can’t wait to get going.
“Hopefully this is a chance to kick on from Berwick last year with it being a difficult place to be around.
“The Championship is a good place to be with full-time football, so hopefully I can improve my game. I knew of the gaffer already and the style of football that he played so when the opportunity of Championship football comes up and you want to develop you need to grab it with both hands, so I’m happy to be here.
“Hopefully we can be challenging high up the league this season. That’s what I’m here for — to go and get the experience.
“It was difficult for me last year at Berwick but hopefully I can use that experience to learn and kick on.”
