THE end to our unbeaten league run looked on the cards early in the first half of Friday’s trip to Kirkcaldy as Morton trailed two goals to nil.
But not for the first time this season the boys rallied and probably should have won the game.
Unfortunately the other results in the Championship didn’t really go our way and we are clinging onto the final promotion play-off position.
Our next two games are now massive if we want to compete for the promotion positions.
Firstly we entertain Ayr United and then travel to play Partick Thistle.
My gut feeling at the moment is that Dundee, Queen's Park and Partick will take the top three positions thus perhaps leaving us and Ayr fighting for the final play-off spot.
Having said that, I also believe if we can add a couple of quality players in the transfer window we might quite possibly compete right at the top of the league.
