SEVEN players from a local rugby club are on the path to becoming Scottish rugby stars after making it into the next round of selection for the national under-16s team.
A group of players from Birkmyre Rugby Club in Kilmacolm have made it through the initial phase of the Scottish Rugby Union's Pathways slection process and are now part of a cohort of 100 boys in contention for the Scottish Under-16s set up.
Club officials have wished the group all the best in the next stage of selection and praised their hard work so far.
