GREENOCK'S final Western Premiership One match of the 2023 season was due to be played on Saturday against Uddingston at Glenpark.
But despite it being a pleasant, dry day the match was cancelled.
The Glenpark ground had failed to recover from the heavy rain that had fallen during the week.
It was therefore a doubly disappointing end to the season for Greenock, as the club will now be relegated to play in the Western Premiership Two next season.
The second half of the season was badly blighted by the weather.
All of Greenock’ s nine matches from the beginning of July were rain affected, with five either cancelled or abandoned and only four managing to be completed.
