A LOCAL boxing club is celebrating success after two of its members won recent bouts.
Jordan Hayter and David Irvine of Inverclyde Boxing Club triumphed in a pair of Friday night fights in Blantyre.
Both boxers won their fights unanimously against tough opposition.
Inverclyde Boxing Club head coach Rab McMaster said: “I’d like to thank everyone involved, our coaches Jason, Gary and Declan and also Andy Armour who is our strength and conditioning coach.
“Jordan has passed all his courses and is now also a coach, which we’re also delighted to see.”
