Battery Park junior parkrun, event number 116, December 10
ON a cool, but dry Sunday morning 12 runners took part in the junior parkrun. No first timers this week but three runners, Noah, Callum and Amber achieved new PBs.
One runner, Theo Carroll, reaching a milestone by completing his 21st junior parkrun and gaining his marathon wristband.
There was one volunteer milestone, with Tracey Howe helping out for the 200th time. Parkrun thanks Tracey for all that she does.
First to complete the course was Noah Carroll with a new PB of 08:02. Elijah Taylor was second in 08:16. Completing the top three in 09:54 was Rory Crawford.
Amber Skye McDougall was first of the girls to finish with a new PB of 11:26. Quinn Arthur was second girl (11:47). Completing the top three girls was Caitlin Taylor in 13:33.
Parkrun is very grateful to the volunteers who made this event happen: Sandra Campbell, Gabriel Carroll, Gillian Clark, Iona Clark, Michael Crawford, Lesley Dick, James Gavin, Janice Hendrie, Tracey Howe, Marjorie Morrison, Rachel Neil, Kirsty Ormond, Rudi Stetz, Susanne Stetz, William Taylor, Dominic Townsend and Sarah Ward.
