Greenock parkrun, event number 437, February 24
A TOTAL of 115 people ran, jogged or walked the course on a beautiful morning on the Esplanade.
Eighteen were first-timers, 15 recorded new PBs and representatives of 17 different clubs took part.
This was participants' monthly pacer event and post parkrun catch-up at the Pirrie Hall.
Two runners celebrated milestone events. First timer at Greenock, Sophie Carracher, took part in her 25th parkrun. David Brown also completed his 25th parkrun, and all but two of those have been run at Greenock.
Thomas Jamieson was the first runner to finish in a time of 18:51. First timer from RTC Warriors, Scott Parker, completed the course in 19:19. Finishing in 19:38, Lewis Khan completed the top three male finishers.
Finishing in a time of 22:12 was first female, Fiona Macfarlane. First timer, Sophie Carracher, was second in 22:33. Cheryl Thomas completed the top three ladies in 23:51.
