GREENOCK parkrun held its 438rd event on a brisk Saturday morning.

On a cold and windy morning on the Esplanade, 120 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 17 were first timers.

This included two people taking part in their first ever parkrun.

Nine recorded new personal bests and representatives of 13 different clubs took part.

There was one milestone. Ian Taylor completed his 25th parkrun. A special mention goes to first timer and park walker, Malc Isherwood, who completed his 450th parkrun.
