Battery Park junior parkrun, event number 130, March 24
A TOTAL of 40 runners took part in the latest Battery Park junior parkrun in beautiful sunny weather.
There were six first-timers - Tommy, Sienna, Charlotte, Caleb, Noah and Isla.
New PBs were achieved by 16 runners - Rudy, Louie, Sam, Rafael, Jamie, Rudi, Faye, Cadhlea, Quinn, Amy, Luke, Cameron, Maisie, Louisa, Lucia and Craig.
Ruairidh Hair received his half marathon wristband having completed his 11th junior parkrun.
Two runners, Fox and Mason, ran in their 21st junior parkruns. They will receive their marathon wristbands at their next parkrun.
Following on from his brilliant PB in the full parkrun, Rudy also achieved a new PB of 08:18 to finish first. He was followed by Louie, also with a new PB of 08:59. Completing a hat-trick of PBs for the first three boys was Sam who finished in 09:34.
For the girls, Anna completed the run in 09:29. Finishing second for the girls was Faye with a new PB of 09:47. Completing the top three girls was Cadhlea. She also achieved a new PB of 11:12.
