GIRLS and women are being invited to try golf for free as part of a programme which tees off in Inverclyde this week.
Gourock Golf Club will run weekly sessions from Thursday April 18 until the end of May.
The programme is open to women and girls aged ten and over.

Participants will have the chance to learn how to strike the ball in the club’s studio, before getting out on the various parts of the course.
The Women Into Golf initiative launched back in 2018, with around a third of the club’s current ladies’ section having come through the programme.
