YACHTS of all shapes and sizes took to the Clyde as Royal Gourock Yacht Club helped host a successful regatta.
More than two dozen boats took part in the recent Glaschu Spirits One Design Regatta, with over 65 competitors taking part from across Gourock, Cove and Holy Loch Sailing Clubs.
An impressive array of vessels were on show at the event, which was sponsored by firms such as James Watt Dock Marina, Marine Blast and Saturn Sails.
Yacht club commodore Mike Storry told the Telegraph the club were delighted with the event’s success.
He added: “We had a good turnout of yachts, the regatta centres on our club but the idea was to bring back the regattas of the past.
“A lot more classes of boats and other clubs were involved as a result.
“By all accounts it was a terrific day and a big success.”
The yacht club are now preparing for a busy August, which includes the return of their popular raft race on August 17.
The annual charity event will kick off at 1pm and will include entertainment for participants and spectators.
Teams taking part in the event assemble their own rafts to compete against each other in order to raise cash for their chosen causes.
This year’s event is being sponsored by Inverheat and Hugh Pyper.
Those who wish to participate are asked to contact Alison Allan at the yacht club.
