WELLINGTON Park Bowling Club is applying for funding to host an upcoming Bowls Scotland national event.
The Greenock club plans is asking for £5,000 for greens maintenance, insurance and a marquee to stage the competition.
The grants sub-committee will meet on Tuesday, September 2 to decide on the awards, with no more than £10,000 set to be awarded to each individual group or organisation.
