GREENOCK Wanderers start their National 4 campaign with a difficult away match at Dunfermline on Saturday after their heavy defeat to GHK last week.
Wanderers should have a stronger squad than last week with players unavailable returning. The forwards took a lot of credit for a very good performance last week, dominating in the scrum and lineout, though second row Vavi Kaura is doubtful after having to leave the pitch injured last week, as is Hoodless.
In the backs Harrison makes a welcome return at stand off and Lee Houston is also fit again to link with Boag in the centre.
Ethan Jack is having a good run as a utility back and will vie with Knapper for the full back position, while Scott Galbraith will also return on the wing.
Wanderers will have to be at their best to take home any of the spoils.
The 2nd XV do not have a game this weekend.
The ladies have a home league match on Sunday against West of Scotland, and will be hoping to still top their league after their fine away win at Ayr.
The ladies' second XV have a home match on Friday, under the lights, against Glasgow University in West Regional League 3, kicking off at 7:30pm.
Elsewhere on Saturday the Wee Wandies (for ages 3-5) runs from 10-11am.
Other youth fixtures on Saturday are as follows.
Micros (P1-3) v Cambuslang (a) 11am; minis (P4-7) V Cambuslang (a) 11am; U16 girls v Ayr (a) 11am; U14 girls round robin (h) 11am; U13s V Bishopton (a) 12pm; U14s v Kilmarnock (h) 12pm; U15s v Clydebank (h) 2pm; U16s v Kilmarnock (a) 2pm; Womens 3rd XV v Strathaven (a) 2pm.
