MEMBERS of the Greenock Otters swimming club brought home nine medals, including three golds, from the Clyde Valley Beavers’ gala at Wishaw Leisure Centre.
The medal winners were as follows.
Gold: Kaitlyn Branchfield in the 25m beginners’ race, and Chloe Swinney in the 25m backstroke class 6 and 50m freestyle class 3.
Silver: William Heron in the 25m backstroke class 5 and 25m breaststroke class 6, and Michael McLaughlin in the 50m butterfly class 2.
Bronze: Michael McLaughlin in the 50m backstroke class 4, and Luca Talacchia in the 25m backstroke class 5 and 50m freestyle class 1.
Congratulations to Kaitlin Branchfield who won a gold medal in her first ever gala.
