A WEE bit of rain didn't stop 23 young athletes and 17 volunteers taking part in the latest Battery Park junior parkrun.

Archie joined the parkrun for the first time on Sunday, while Rowan received her marathon wristband as she has completed 21 junior parkruns.

Iona had a busy day with three roles as she volunteered for the 25th time.

Completing the course with a new PB of 06:49 was first placed runner, Finlay.  Elijah was second boy to finish in 08:06.  In 09:16, Rudi completed the top three boys.
