PORT GLASGOW boss Tam Jamieson says he may struggle to keep a hold of emerging talisman Shaun Rodgers should frontman keep up his devastating recent form.
The former Morton prodigy has been on fire since returning to fitness last month, netting seven goals in his last four games as he cemented his place at the heart of the Undertakers' attack.
Rodgers picked up an ankle injury in pre-season, but now he's firing on all cylinders his manager is hoping that the Parklea men will continue to benefit from Jamieson's decision to allow the youngster the freedom to express himself - starting this Saturday at home to Eglinton.

He told the Tele: "Shaun's played at a good level before coming here. We're fully aware of that.
"The biggest thing about bringing him here was just about enjoying his football again.
"He played at a higher level and maybe didn't enjoy it at times. What we can give him is game time and that freedom to go and express himself.
"He'll probably be hard to keep but we'll cross that bridge when we come to it."
Port head into this weekend's fixture off the back of three straight wins, having navigated their way through a difficult spell of three matches without a victory.
And Jamieson has challenged his side to be at it from the very first whistle after watching the Parklea side get away with being slow out of the traps against Campbeltown Pupils last weekend.
He added: "We fancy ourselves here at Parklea against anyone, although we know we're in for a different task against Eglinton tomorrow.
"It'll be a bit tougher than Campbeltown last week so we can't afford to start slack like we did last week, we need to be right on it from the first whistle.
"It's the biggest game of the season so far, yet again, so we're looking to go and get three points again - nothing less."
