GREENOCK Wanderers fell victim to Storm Bert as their wait to get back to winning ways continues.
Their National Division Four clash at home against Dunfermline did not take place due the cold snap during the week - followed on with an early morning onslaught of snow, making the playing surface waterlogged.
The Fort Matilda side weren't the only side to suffer that fate as all of the other fixtures within the division fell foul to the weather.
Whilst disappointing, the postponement ultimately gives the Wanderers squad and management a further opportunity to prepare for another massive match in their battle to avoid the drop.
The Greenock men will hit the road this weekend as they make the relatively short trip away to Whitecraigs this weekend.
And it is hoped that they can go into this one with an element of confidence behind them.
That's because, despite only taking maximum points just once this season, Wanderers solitary victory had come against the side hailing from the Southside of Glasgow.
A 12 point margin separated the sides in a 36-24 win for the Greenock men at Fort Matilda - but since then they have pulled away from Wanderers at the bottom of the table.
Greenock Wanderers are grateful to club sponsors, MMSearch and ladies section sponsors Straps of Gourock and Brow House Cosmetics.
