THREE Inverclyde footballers on the Clydebank FC squad will get their chance in the spotlight after the West Dunbartonshire team was drawn against Hibernian in the Scottish Cup Fourth Round.
The Holm Park side will hope to pulling off a giant killing next month after being pulled out of the hat alongside the Premiership side which sits five divisions above them.
And the clash provides an opportunity for the Bankies' Inverclyde trio Nicky Little, Nicky Low, and Jamie Darroch to get their opportunity on the biggest stage of them all as they hope to pull off the shock of this year's competition to date.
The trio helped the undefeated West of Scotland Premier Division leaders get the better of last season's Highland League winners Buckie Thistle in Saturday's third round clash.
Bankies legend Little was the man of the hour as he netted a fine second half brace against the Aberdeenshire side, lashing home a volley from 18-yards beyond Mark Ridgers before sending the former Inverness stopper the wrong way from12-yards to seal his side's place in January's fourth round.
That was just two of a showreel of highlights that Little, from Greenock, has had for the Holm Park outfit, who he's featured over 200 times for as well as netting over 100 times from an advanced midfield role.
Former Aberdeen, Dundee and Arbroath star Low, who also featured in last weekend's win, joined the Bankies in February of last year, initially on a short term deal after leaving the then Championship side.
The Greenock-born midfielder has since became a firm favourite in the Bankies engine room and will be no stranger to the Easter Road stage having turned out over 50 times for the Dons.
Darroch, from Port Glasgow, is a Holm Park stalwart having turned out for the Bankies for the last eight seasons after leaving fellow WoSFL side Pollok.
The 34-year-old penned a two year deal back in the summer that will extend his stay at Clydebank until 2026.
The authoritative defender has now taken up a player-coaching role with Gordon Moffat's side as he remains a vital part of the Bankies set up.
He'll be hoping to play his part in helping his side do the unthinkable in little over a month's time.
