KIRK Broadfoot admits he didn't envisage getting his Morton career off to a goalscoring start - but believes that there’s more to come from his side’s set plays this season.
Broadfoot has netted two goals in four games and feels there could and possibly should have been more goals shared between him and his colleagues.
He said: "When it comes to set plays my main aim is just to get my head in there and hope for the best.
“It's one of those things where we’ve worked on it in training, but I’ve been fortunate enough to get my head on one and a tap in on another.
“I think if we still had Jack Baird available and not injured then we probably would’ve had a couple more goals in there as well, but that’s just the cards that we’ve been dealt with.
“But the most important thing was getting the win on Saturday and we managed to do that as well as sealing qualification, which is a big bonus for us as a dressing room and for the club itself.”
