MORTON midfielder Robbie Crawford says it is high time his side take their good cup form into the league campaign.
Crawford, a scorer in the SPFL Trust triumph over Kelty Hearts, acknowledges that his side have had an absymal start to the Championship campaign and need to address that urgently.
It contrasts sharply with them making it out of their League Cup group, performing well in the next round at Ibrox and reaching the last eight of the SPFL Trust Trophy.
Crawford told the Tele: "I hope that we can take that second half performance against Kelty forward into this weekend, we need to really.
"The league form has been terrible. There's no getting away from it because we haven't been great.
"We need to go and try to win as many games as possible from now on in the hope of climbing as far up the table as possible and getting as far away from the bottom of the league as possible."
Although Crawford acknowledges Ton haven't been good enough, he feels that the standard of the Championship has been a factor.
He said: "Every game is hard. Playing Inverness here on Saturday is not going to be any different from playing Dundee United at Tannadice. There simply aren't any easy games in this league.
"We'll go into it trying to win, like we do with every game. That's the mentality that the gaffer sets."
