CAMERON Blues has been on a spying mission to run the rule over Morton's Scottish Cup opponents.
Ton take on Lowland League outfit Bo'ness United in the third round, with their opponents a bit of an unknown quantity.
Blues went on a scouting trip a few weeks ago to check them out and says despite the three league difference between the two sides he expects a tricky task on Saturday.
He said: “I went to watch them against East Kilbride a few weeks ago, and they looked a good side.
“They caused problems and scored a few goals so they’ll pose us a threat. That game finished 4-3 to East Kilbride, so it was well worth the admittance fee.
“They’re here on merit and its great that they’ve got the opportunity, but it's up to us to put that to one side and get the job done.”
However Blues added that his team-mates should not dwell on the risk of being the victims of a shock.
He told the Tele: “We can’t allow ourselves to focus too much on solely avoiding a hiccup, because if we do that we’ll trip ourselves up.
“We’ve played a few games against lower league opposition this season and have done quite well, so we know we can do it.
“We’ve managed to get the job done and do it professionally and hopefully we can do the same this time around against Bo’ness.
“We’re not in a great place results wise at the moment, so we’re looking to attack them as quickly as possible."
