DOUGIE Imrie has today been named Championship manager of the month for January.
The award comes after his Morton side continued their tremendous unbeaten run after the turn of the year, with the highlight a stunning 3-2 win over Dundee United at Tannadice.
With the team unbeaten in 12 games, Imrie is now busy plotting a Scottish Cup shock.
Ton will take on Motherwell on Friday night at Cappielow, hoping to cause an upset and reach the quarter finals.
Imrie has thanked sponsors Glen's for the prize.
He said: "It is always a real honour to receive and is a reward for the hard work from the staff and players.
“The run we are on is great and it’s a real testament to the character of my coaching staff and players, without their efforts this award wouldn’t be possible."
