MORTON have hailed an 'unbelievable response' from fans after selling more than 1,000 tickets for next month’s Scottish Cup quarter final in under 24 hours.
Tickets for the Hearts tie on March 11 were released at 5pm yesterday.
Following confusion over a reduced capacity for the last Scottish Cup game at Cappielow - which saw around 6,000 tickets sold - the club has confirmed that numbers will be capped at just over 8,500.
