GOUROCK footballer Greg Taylor has withdrawn from the Scotland squad ahead of this week’s Nations League double-header.

Last week, the Celtic left-back was named in Steve Clarke’s 24-man side for Thursday's tie against Poland at Hampden and Sunday's trip to Lisbon to face Portugal.

Teammate James Forrest has also left the squad, as well as Torino striker Che Adams and Kilmarnock goalkeeper Robbie McCrorie.

Clarke has now called up Rangers midfielder Connor Barron and Dundee keeper Jon McCracken, with Sassuolo left-back Josh Doig being promoted from the under-21s.
