THE Inverclyde community has rallied together to help kit out the next generation of talent coming out of Greenock.

East End United players will look top notch this season thanks to the support of Scott's café on West Blackhall Street, as well as the support of the wider public who dipped their hands in their pockets to support a sponsored walk.

Players took part in the walk earlier this month to help raise funds for the new kits and trekked, in unison, from Greenock Esplanade all the way to Battery Park.

The team, who've seen players such as Michael Paton, Nicky Low, David Barron and Alex McWaters come through the ranks are headed by former St. Mirren and Brechin City star Craig Molloy and were met with their new kits on Friday afternoon.
