MORTON winger Michael Garrity says that he's excited by the potential of the side that's being knitted together at Cappielow.
The tricky wideman sealed his comeback from injury with a fine second half strike against Raith Rovers - and he says that the signs are there that once Ton click, then their free flowing football will see the goals start to pour in.
And he reckons that they'll come with time, where a new look side continue to get a better understanding of each other as they continue to gel.
"I'm excited to see us in a few months time," he told the Tele
"I've said it before, but we've got really good players all throughout the team.
"I think once we get the patterns of play going and a better understanding, than we already do of each other, it will work and when it does then the goals will come."
Garrity returned to the side after spending four weeks on the treatment table as a result of rolling his ankle in training.
And he says that he felt the affects of a month's worth of being idle which has left him determined to get back to full fitness sooner rather than later as he looks to build on a strong return to the fold.
"I'll need to get fitter," he continued.
"That Raith game was my first bit of action in four weeks, i'd obviously been out injured.
"I was feeling it towards the end of the game a bit, so I'll need to work hard on the training pitch and build myself up.
"But once I get a few weeks of getting back involved in games under my belt, I'll hopefully be flying again and hopefully I can continue to kick on now."
