MORTON WFC boss Gary Forbes will hope his side can provide the reaction he's looking for when they face off against Glasgow Women on Sunday.

The Parklea side were brought crashing back down to earth last weekend when they were on the wrong end of a heavy defeat at home to a Forfar Farmington team who, before the game, stood just one place above them in the table.

A Hannah Dishington hat-trick had the Angus side on easy street as all the good work of the fortnight prior looked to have been undone for Forbes' side.

The No.9 was at her best as she notched Farmington in front inside just six minutes, putting Ton on the back foot.

And she was at her devastating best to double up with little under 20 minutes on the clock before killing the game off shortly before half time.

Ton would get one back with 13 minutes to play but it was too little too late. However after a tough week on the training field Forbes will be hoping to use that goal as a platform when Glasgow Women make the short trip down the M8 this weekend.

Getting that reaction won't be easy though - as the Alliance Park side currently sit four points off the top of the pile and have already recorded two victories against Ton in the first half of the season.

The Parklea side though will take heart from the fact that they've only lost once in their last three games and they'll be looking to get back firing sooner rather than later - as they look to extend the gap between themselves and Westdyke who sit second bottom of the table.
